“Prosperity For Generations” ~ The SG50 vases were unveiled in 2015. Symbolizing "Prosperity for Generations", they were commissioned by former President S.R. Nathan as a gift to the nation on its 50th anniversary celebrations and for charity purposes.

The SG50 vase is inspired by the symbols of Singapore: the Vanda Orchid and the star and moon ag. On the vase, the 5 stars of the ag are transformed into ve three-dimensional orchids to symbolize democracy, peace, progress, justice and equality.



This piece expresses the diversity of cultures, everlasting vigor, and the people’s spirit of hard work, cooperation and interdependence on the fertile land of Singapore. It delivers peace and prosperity and wishes all beings to flourish.
